Field trips...one of the reasons for go on with this career...
Was hard to choose a field trip that was better than other. Every field trip has a learning, a fun time, a beautiful place and a little growing for me. The year 2009 I went to "El Parral" community, in the locality of "Huasco Alto", Third region, and we saw, the Huasco valley, and we saw the people, that was suffering, because the Barrick multinational, gold miner, will soon dry the valley and kill the precious and unknown treasure of Chile, the gold of the Pascua Lama hill.

But, this theme is known, now. However, the problematic of Pichidegua is more unknown, but not for this, less important. Pichidegua has a rich agriculture, and its fruits are plentiful and tasty. It mantains it rural style, with nature and clean air. But, some years ago, a "humble" company, came to stay. With the "signal" of "Not conventional renewable energy source", they propose to generate electrical energy burning the "bed" where grow up the chicken composed by wood shavings and its faeces. For cooling the machine, they would use the water used too for irrigate the crops. The damages are a long list, but the worst is: the enviromental impac study of that projet says: "The place where the plant will stablish has not a soil with high agricultural value" Chile, and the whole world is full of bad jokes, like this.

Everywhere we can find a invaluable cultural or natural wealths; but the companies go on and on taking out our richness and leaving poverty, for enrich only them own country. Why the countries with more natural richness are the poorest?
