"Little mice's place": Pichidegua

Field trips...one of the reasons for go on with this career...

Was hard to choose a field trip that was better than other. Every field trip has a learning, a fun time, a beautiful place and a little growing for me. The year 2009 I went to "El Parral" community, in the locality of "Huasco Alto", Third region, and we saw, the Huasco valley, and we saw the people, that was suffering, because the Barrick multinational, gold miner, will soon dry the valley and kill the precious and unknown treasure of Chile, the gold of the Pascua Lama hill.

But, this theme is known, now. However, the problematic of Pichidegua is more unknown, but not for this, less important. Pichidegua has a rich agriculture, and its fruits are plentiful and tasty. It mantains it rural style, with nature and clean air. But, some years ago, a "humble" company, came to stay. With the "signal" of  "Not  conventional renewable energy source", they propose to generate electrical energy burning the "bed" where grow up the chicken composed by wood shavings and its faeces. For cooling the machine, they would use the water used too for irrigate the crops. The damages are a long list, but the worst is: the enviromental impac study of that projet says: "The place where the plant will stablish has not a soil with high agricultural value" Chile, and the whole world is full of bad jokes, like this.

Fertile vineyards

The pure and clean rural spirit

Another unique cultural wealth: the Azudas; old watermills for irrigate crops instead the ditches
Everywhere we can find a invaluable cultural or natural wealths; but the companies go on and on taking out our richness and leaving poverty, for enrich only them own country. Why the countries with more natural richness are the poorest?

A place in London

It's hard to talk about a place that I've never visited or at least have been interested in there. (I'm sorry, I'd have prefered to go to Ireland or Scotland, or visit Stonehenge...). Seeking on the webquests about London, I found that this enormous city is divided in different regions, and I was drawn by the North London, because the Wikipedia defincion said that is more alike to a small village with hills and lakes. I don't like the cities with so many noises streets, high buildings, colapsed traffic, bad smells, contamination or garbages, though they had many services or more people. I imagine that place like the town where J. R. R. Tolkien grew up, and he then described how The Shire was. This is because when I listen the word "London" I only see a ever cloudy sky, and the bridge over the Támesis river. Well, this is all for now. Have a nice day!

Songs, anime and rock and roll!

Music! Is a God creation...everything has music...in the Silmarillion, the world was created by the song of the Valar...but the human appropiated it for their own.
I like almost every kind of music. Less, the "sound", the "reggeaton" or "hip hop", though in a party, I dance them the same, because is not worth to complain for the music. I prefer the music with electric guitars, specially rock and heavy metal. But I like too the classic music, the music of countries, the cumbia, and some pop music.

But, reciently, remembering the school days, I was watching a japanese animation called FLCL (one of the meaning of this letters is Fooly Cooly) and I listened the soundtrack. It was strange to me because that soundtrack was composed of songs, not instrumental music. Well, the name of the band is "The Pillows" and I downloaded some of those songs for listen in my cellphone. Once upon a time in metro "Las Rejas"; I was in the bus after 45 minutes of travel from my house in a Monday morning, making the transport combination, and The Pillows was singing in my ear. But that morning the underground was collapsed, the people was screaming and pushing other people, the entering of the station was closed. Then, I decided to travel by bus, another bus. I took the bus and there was a terrible traffic jam! The bus was accelerating, braking and honking, the people sighed...and The Pillows was singing "...beautifull morning with you!..."...was so ironic that I broke to laugh, and fix me the day!

This is the story of why I love that song...you can hear the music in youtube, the name is "beautiful morning with you"...anybody that likes j-pop would like more...

Cheers!

Soul friend

Though we don't see us frequently, the best friend that left to me is Milza. We knew when we was in fourth grade, at the begining we didn't get well, the year passed away and we didn't make friends. Even I went out of that school, but I came back in seventh grade. Then, there we recognized us and make friend inmediately! We were extrange and misfit for the other people, but we had our world own and get fun  everyday. She loves Michael Jackson, still, and singing him songs she loves too the english. So, I begun to learn english too, and we always took the best marks. Currently, we see us only for birthdays, national celebration or we meet by chance in the street. But now we have less chances to meet us because i live in Maipú and she lives in San Ramón. But facebook and the affection still join us.
This was a birthday in 2008, Milza is in first close up.
Cheers!

Favourite Web page

Like the majority of my generation, the social networks are the favourite pages visited, or less the most visited quantitatively. But for talk about a different topic, I'm gonna talk about the online newspaper "El Mostrador". Is my favourite mass media, because it style is independient, critical and pluralist. In this online newspaper we can find news that doesn't appear in other media. Also, the opinions try to be more unbiased, and they doesn't fear to criticize the politics, the catholic church or other media. I've found many important information that have made me think a lot. The last article that was impressed to me was a priest that told that the catholic church must improve her image, not ask more and more of her believers, the chuch must do more things for the poors, open her stratums, and include in theese process to woman too. This only opinion of a priest improve my own image of the catholic church, and would been very positive that this article was publish in mass media more massives.

The Most beautiful city in Chile

Modestly, I've travel not to much, not more that I'd wanted. But the last summer I traveled with my family and my boyfriend to Valdivia. Was the first time that I visited that place, and I like it inmediately. We stayed for a week, and We went to Teja island, and the village of Corral. During the staying the weather was sunny, cloudy, rainy and windy, we knew all the seasons! I was very taken with Valdivia, because the  public transport was very quiet and cheap, generally the groceries, the clothes, everything was cheaper than Santiago. And, obviously, the enviroment, so carefuled and almost wild, cautivated on me. I don't know if the people was nice because we're on holydays or our faces were signed with "tourists", but the warming of the people improved the impression of this city to me. These photos are taked there, by my humble celular camera, but the paissage wasn't worsened by the quality of the images. Enjoy them!

Memorie's Photograph

This is an ooold photo that was taked in 2007, when I was 17 and was in 4° secundary. Those were all my old friends, and, obviously, anybody that read this, will remember their own school friends. Always there are eternal friendship promises when we go out of school, and, sadly, rarely it comes true. But, with my school friends we talk frequently by facebook!. For the incompatibility of freetimes, we don't visit us usually, but we keep on the love tie among the distance... This is a photograph full of memories, more laughs than tears, and so much to learn. Never we should be ashamed with the girl or boy that we were in the past...always they got something to teach us.
